2010 logo designs showed an increasing amount of creativity, with typography logos playing a great role, as well as negative space logos, monogram logos and shape logos as the main logo design trends from this past year.
Logo designers get paid a lot to come up with a creative concept for a brand, and with good reason, as a logo design is a lasting memory of a brand or website. Often, the logo conveys something about the brand itself, the name, or the mission of the company. The 50 best logos from 2010, as presented here, are no exception, they all are highly creative with great use of memorable elements.
Back in 2009, we did a post on the best logos from 2009 as well, so you might enjoy checking that out and comparing the logo trends for 2009 and 2010.
Enjoy!

Really great collection!
These logos have been always inpiring me, thanks.
Good round-up. The more I see these types of portfolios, the more my appreciation changes. When I first came across them my initial thought was “How lucky to come across these companies with such creative names or companies that are willing to be named!” Now I’ve learned that many of these logos are created by designers with no specific company in mind but rather are available for someone to buy. That doesn’t mean that the logos aren’t still creative but they are created solely by designers for no one.
With that said, any logo you look at in BrandStack or LogoPond are nearly always executed at a very high level. They’re a great reference for design done well/correctly, a good barometer for seeing where the industry is at as far as trends and quality, and great source for inspiration.
I need to do more of this. Thanks for the reference, Eric. 🙂
Nice logos for the inspiration, thanks

Most of those logos have a sort of minimalist design. There is no doubt that less is better.
