While there are a lot of ridiculous looking cards here, Bombay Bakery is an exception. Thomas Antiques, Boundless Design, Virle Reid, Creative Solution, and The Corner Deli are pretty good too. Sometimes being “unique” doesn’t work, as a lot of these designs show.
Yawn…
‘sigh’
FuelHouse logo looks quite similar to Icon Factory

Hello Everybody.
Could You give me an info where could I print such business cards?
I mean print company which is able to print on different paper textures and shapes.
Thanks in advance and all the best in 2011!
Any local print company should be able to do stuff like this as long as they support die cutting if you wanted a cutout shape. I would steer away from online print sources for detailed card, as you should always ask for a press check when doing something fairly detailed.
Quite a few are die-cut and embossed and can be done locally. The ones that are engraved and laminated with two ply card stock is a little more speciality. Try Continental Engravers in Brooklyn. Also the more intricate cut out ones are laser die cut. The wood and metal ones will have to be print via a screen printing process, so those will be a speciality shop as well. I’ve been a print production manager for almost 20 years and have done many high-end corporate ID packages. If you have a specific design, I most likely can match you up with the correct vendor.
Most of these a really good but surely the best ones rely more on design than funky paper, die cutting, uv gloss etc
It it just me or does the travalling brewhouse and Anthony hicks have the same design as back panel … “appointment”.
Yes. It is probably a template. Actually, I’m not even sure why those designs were included. They aren’t that great.
