A QR code business card uses a QR code, or Quick Response code, is a specific matrix barcode that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers and camera phones. Â The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background that can encode text, URLs, or other data. Â QR codes are becoming increasingly popular in advertising as a way of interacting with potential clients, but they have recently become trendy for business card design as well.
A QR code business card can encode all of the data on the QR code, or just a certain bit, but one things for sure, a designer with a QR code business card is communicating about their cutting edge knowledge of technologies.

Very creative.
I noticed About.me have teamed up with moo.com to allow free QR code business cards. Worth a look!
Wonderful! Nice to see there are some nice examples from the Netherlands included. I also have a QR code on my business card. People always ask what it is, or scan it right away!
If you like, you can also visit my website. It includes an advanced QR generator =).
This is great collection of QR code biz cards. Everything gets even more interesting when you start tracking them. On biz cards should be used Dynamic QR code so you can change message any time. Visit QR Code generator http://qrcode.good-survey.com/
Thanks for assembling this collection. Some really clever designs in the mix. QR code on chocolate, that takes the ….cake.

Looks like you’ve embedded quite a bit of information into the code Paul – how are you finding scans on that? I imagine BB’s have trouble or is it fine?
Send me an email if you’d like a free code for our service which will give you an optimised code and more detailed information from a landing page, as well as stats on user scans/ interactions with content.
Mine has four. One for my website, one for my book, one for my podcast, and one for my twitter.
That seems way over the top, Paul. You’re making them scan four different codes for four pieces of information when you could have had one code that redirects to a page holding all of that information plus more? User first.
I agree, 4 QR codes on 1 card = overkill.
Absolutely. Users would need to cover up three codes to scan any one of them – phones have problems when more than one code is in scanning range we find.. !!

Hi everybody,
Very beautiful business card, love it :)
We are developping a start up which provide many codes at the same time for your businesscards (Codes pointing at a URL with a Vcard). The start-up aims to target big firms.
We provide also many services (in addition of the code) : access 24-24 hour, unlimited updating, statistic repporting, privacy and secured hosting of data.

Great range of QR code business card examples!
Just as important as making the codes pretty (as in the examples above) is, what’s actually *encoded* in the card. A link to a mobile optimised mini site, specific to the business cards is idea, and just linking the homepage of a non-mobile optimised site is just gimmicky.
Think about QR code content as much as, or more than, the QR code itself is my tip!
Muito bom!!!
