Hey. I have super kinky/curly hair. I love my curls…sorta…I mean I like having curly hair but it frizzes when I let it down to airdry. And when it airdrys in a pony it looks okay. My hair is also super thick I mean crazy thick.It can be a pain esspesially because when it comes to brushing well I do my best to stay away! Im kinda not sure what to do for picture day. I straightened it but i am thinkingbof curling part of it in a half up style…. oh well. I am always lookingbfor styles that are quick easy and look nicenwith curly hair. You sound like me!! I have thick curly hair and it overwhelms my face. Curly hair needs to be moisturized and if you want to keep it long layer it. I cut my hair real short and let it grow below my shoulders just to become aware of what length i felt comfortable with. Though I love long curls personally I look better with short curls. Having fun with your curly hair is about learning how to take care of it. Read up on curly hair and find good hairstylist that can teach you. By the way i never comb my curls just moisturize it with products specifically for curly hair. You can always put a headband or a clip and let the curls hang. I decided if im going to have my hair in a ponytail i would cut it. At times i loosen the curls by wrapping my damp hair around my head with hairclips leaving them on for a couple of hours.
