Double exposure photography is the superimposition of two individual exposures to create a single photograph. Â The exposure values may or may not be identical to each other. Â The resulting effect is almost an overlayed or faint second image within a primary image. Â Double exposure photography can be achieved with traditional film, although there is much less room for error, but it is also achievable through digital photography and post processing, which offers a wide variety of creative effects.
