Fractals are defined as “A geometric figure that repeats itself under several levels of magnification, a shape that appears irregular at all scales of length.” Fractal art then is “created by calculating fractal objects and representing the calculation results as still images, animations, music, or other media.” Not all art called fractal art is in fact actually fractal, but rather seeks to represent the methods and shapes commonly derived by true fractals.
